MASTERCARD STYLE IN THE CITY GALA EVENING
THURSDAY 29 OCTOBER 2009 @ 18:00 FOR 18:30

Join us at the elegant  Style Academy auction dinner where guests will be entertained by fashion gurus Trinny and Susannah as they bring elements of their popular TV show to the stage.

This decadent evening is all in the name of a great cause; as we will be raising money for The Heart and Stroke Foundation South Africa.



Go Red for Women presented by MasterCard will see eight sought-after South African designers each creating their own beautiful red dress, which will be worn on the runway by eight well-known South African female personalities, magazine editors and businesswomen.





The exclusive red dresses will be designed and modelled by the following designers and women at the opening gala dinner of MasterCard Style in the City on the 29th October:

• Jackie Burger, editor: Elle for Abigail Betz
• Jill Docherty, business leader: MasterCard Africa for Gavin Rajah
• Jo-Anne Strauss, presenter: Top Billing and host of MasterCard Style in the City for Gabi Rosenwerth
• Kate Wilson, editor: Marie Claire for Marianne Fassler
• Lerato Tshabalala, editor: Sunday Times Lifestyle for David Tlale
• Michelle van Breda, editor: Sarie for Stefania Morland
• Pnina Venster, editor: Glamour for Jacques Lagrange
• Samantha Page, editor: O Magazine for Bongiwe Walaza

Each dress will be auctioned off on the evening of the 29th October. There will be a reserved minimum bid for each dress and all proceeds raised will benefit The Heart and Stroke Foundation South Africa.
